The Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain has been bringing great summer concerts to the Scranton metro area since it's opening in 1999. The amphitheater is located behind the ski lodge on Montage Mountain. It took six years to gets its first sold-out concert in 2005 but Dave Matthews did it bringing in 18,000 people. In 2012 the Dave Matthews Band will return again. In 2006 the venue changed its name to the Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain after being purchased by live Nation. The Toyota Pavilion is a summertime favorite for the outdoor music festival scene including past greats such as, Ozzfest, Vans Warped tour, Mayhem Festival and Lilith Fair.
